SOTW Rules

1. All entries must conform to the specific guidelines laid out in the SOTW Entries thread.
2. This is Signature of the Week so your result should be suitable for use as a signature.
3. Your entry should be made by you and you only. You should have permission to use any stocks, renders or other resources from their respective owners. If you are found to be using resources without permission or to have ripped somebody else’s signature, you will be disqualified from all future SOTWs.
4. Once you have submitted your entry you must not edit or change it – any attempt to edit your post or edit the image at its source will be seen as cheating and as such you will be disqualified from any future SOTWs.
5. Anyone may enter the competition and signatures will be judged based on the following criteria:

Technical Quality: The quality of the techniques used
Appropriateness: How appropriate the signature is in relation to the theme of the SOTW
Amount of Effort Demonstrated: How much time and effort we deem to have gone into the signature

6. The judge(s) will put the signatures in a ranked order based on the above criteria – their favourite will be given a score of 1, their second favourite a score of 2 and so on. The entry with the lowest total score will be deemed the winner.
